22 Out Of 24 Healthiest Foods Are Plant-Based

I stumbled across this health webiste on my internet travels. As always, I was keen to read up on the latest science and opinion on healthy foods and scrolled through the list. Hmm, nothing new, really; the usual suspects were present.

I was just about to click away when I noticed something: an abundance of plant-based foods. I double checked the site to make sure it wasn’t a veggie, vegan or plant-based site that may be biased and was pleased to see it wasn’t. The site in question is owned and run by a nutritional therapist, so it is safe to say she knows what she is talking about.

This is the list, in order.

  3. Salmon*
  4. Avocado

  6. Broccoli
  7. Almonds

  9. Sweet Potatoes
  10. Tomatoes
  11. Kale

As an endorsement for the PBMF diet, it doesn’t get much better than that, really. The facts and stats are out there: the health benefits of a PBMF diet are pretty damn extraordinary. IF you want to live a long, healthy life and remain fit into very old age, you stand a much better chance as a PBMF than someone with a typical western diet.
